Puppy Party Invitations

Puppy Party Invitations

My baby girl is almost ONE!
I can’t believe how quickly the year has gone by.
I’m so sad to say good-bye to her baby years, but I’m helping her enter ONE-derland in style, with a puppy themed 1st birthday party & invitations!

Every great birthday party starts with great invitations right?! Her first word was “Daisy”, which is our dog’s name, so it seemed appropriate to give her a puppy themed birthday party! And I was ALREADY planning the puppy theme when I came across the amazing Puppy Party stamp by Close to My Heart!

(All Close To My Heart unless stated)

Stamps: Puppy Party
Ink: Gypsy, Cranberry, Canary, Sweet Leaf, Lagoon, Cotton Candy
Paper: White Daisy Cardstock, Assorted paper from Recollections
Accessories: Gold Shimmer Trim Ribbon,
Words: “Let’s Party” cut using my Cricut Explore Air 2

The first thing I did was cut the words “Let’s party” for the top of my invitation using my Cricut Explore Air 2 (My crafting best friend!). There are a zillion (#approximately) fonts and images to choose from. I really liked the “Let’s Party” image so I cut that out 20 times (one for each invite!).

Then I got crazy with stamping!
I used my Puppy Party stamp set to make the puppy with his party hat and balloon, and then I used other stamps from the same set to decorate the white cardstock for the inside and outside of the card.

If you would like to know the dimensions of the paper, please ask!

  1. What adorable invites!! I usually purchased mine online for our little one but I’m thinking that since his 3rd birthday party will be a little smaller, I’ll be able to do something more personal. Maybe I can try something similar to this.

  2. I’ve never made my own invitations, but these are too cute! A friend always sends me a homemade Christmas card and I cherish it about all others. I don’t know if I’m talented enough to make my own. :)

I saw your puppy cake pops, so had to rush over to see your invites. Glad these caught my eye at the Bloggertunities Linkup.

    1. I’m so glad you stopped by! Yes, homemade cards and invitations are always my favourite. After a bit of practice, you get fairly fast at making them too!
