Graduation Card

See how to make this homemade graduation card in this simple tutorial.

Someone very special is going to get this card in about two weeks!!
I can’t believe graduation time has come already – where did the year go?! In no time at all I’ll be watching my daughter enter kindergarten, and then *gulp* graduate high school!
For now, I’m just happy to make a graduation card for my beautiful niece :)

This simp[le graduation card was made using Close to My Heart materials.

I used all Close to My Heart products for this card, because I love the products they sell. Everything coordinates SO easily!

Here’s what I used:

White Card and Envelope
Diploma Day Stamp
Sparkly pink cardstock (Recollections)
Black & white cardstock
Black Ink
Chalk Marker

And of course, I used my favourite crafting tool: My Cricut Explore Air 2!

Pieces for this graduation card were cut using my Cricut Explore.

I started by cutting out a white shape big enough to fit my stamp on the Cricut Explore Air 2. Once I had the cardstock cut, I stamped the hat, and the wording onto the cardstock using the black ink. Then I cut the black and pink cardstock to fit (just 1/2″ smaller than the card height and width). Finally, I added a cute little border detail with my chalk marker.

I’m SO happy with how it turned out!
One more reason to be excited about graduation day :)

This finished graduation card is all ready to be signed for that special grad in your life!
