How to Make Your New Years Wooden Gift Tags

Have you used balsa wood before? It’s a fun craft material. It’s an extremely lightweight wood – it almost feels like foam sheets in your hand. You know that I already love creating things with wood, but now I can craft with wood too! lol.

Then simply place the balsa wood piece on top of the tag design you want to use from the “Tag, You’re It” Steel Rule Die, and crank it through the Platinum 6 machine.

I made a few tree tags that easily could be used for Christmas or New Years. I just traced a tree cookie cutter for the design – couldn’t be easier!

If you’re skilled with a pen (which I am not…. sadly, lol), don’t be afraid to just draw right on them!
