Jingle Bells, jingle bells, jingle all the way…. Are you in the holiday spirit yet?! I’ve been slowly decorating the house for Christmas, which obviously includes playing Christmas music! My daughter has taken a liking to the jingle bells carol, so we are also doing a lot of singing around here! Just what I needed to get me in the mood to decorate my Red & White Holiday Tablescape!
I had a new red plaid fabric that I knew would make a fabulous table runner. I decided to build the entire tablescape around that fabric.
As I always do, I wanted to incorporate some natural elements into the decor, starting with a simple centrepiece. The found the rustic wooden round in my mother-in-law’s shed collecting dust, so I swiped it (with permission…lol). I added a few glass jars of different shapes and sizes and filled them with a variety of cinnamon sticks, pinecones, and faux red berries and flowers.
I added a few other glass jars and mason jars along the table runner with the same materials dispersed inside. I LOVE adding natural elements to my decor. I think the jute string and the wood do a great job of bringing the outdoors in.
Finally, I used birch bark to make these star-shaped Birch Bark Place Settings. They were super easy to make, and look beautiful against my crisp white napkins and plates. I’m sharing the full tutorial at Clean and Scentsible today. Be sure to pop over there and check out how I made them!
Hope you liked the Red and White Holiday Tablescape!
Ohhh, I love it all. You did a great job with all the little details. The jute string was the perfect touch!
Thank you so much Erin :) Glad you liked it!
