Quick and Easy Fall Room Decor

Welcome to my fall home! I’ve joined a great group of Canadian bloggers to share some autumn inspiration. I announced a few weeks ago that we are moving into a new home, which means…. this is my last home tour in my current home. It’s so bittersweet to decorate one final time. Many of my decorations are boxed away in storage right now while we have visitors stepping into the house every couple of days (*fingers crossed for a buyer!*). So, I used what I had and simplified my fall room decor this year. I hope you find some inspiration in my quick and easy decorating!

My Simple Fall Decor

Here’s the main view of my cozy living room. All you need is a few small items to make a room feel decorated, and as with most years, my few small items are child-friendly as well. The other side of my living room looks like this…

I swapped out a few throw blankets for comfier ones with fall colours, and switched out my pillow covers for velvet ones, which bring a lot of warmth into the room!

A few pumpkins, painted with the same paint colours as these pumpkins, sitting on the side tables complete the space. Simple and practical—because we all know my toddlers are gonna walk away with those pumpkins every day.

Fall calls for a snack and a warm coffee as well, doesn’t it?! This is how I served my guests this week. It’s amazing how much a fall treat and some warm drinks add to the room!

My Simple Mantle Decor

I usually decorate my mantle, but the theme this fall is simple, and the decor on the mantle fits that to a tee! All it needed is some wheat on each side and a couple little decorative items.

My Sideboard

I included the most fall decor on the sideboard at the edge of the room. With a few traditional colours and some natural textures, this little vignette finishes off the space.
