Nine months

Eleanor is now 18 lbs, 6 oz and  28.5 inches long.

Our wiggly, squiggly little girl is already 9 months old, and not at all interested in staying still. Pat-a-cake and peek-a-boo evoke the happiest of giggles from her. She has learned how to give and request objects with hand gestures. She visited her 4th province – same amount as Daddy’s seen! She is using many, many more consonant sounds… and may have said the name “Daisy” already. She’s on the verge of being able to crawl. Her face lights up when anyone new enters a room. Her stubborn independence is rearing it’s head already (clearly didn’t get this from her mama!). She’s a clever little thing. She knows how to use her baby charm to manipulate Mommy and Daddy already. She is learning something new every day. And she watches our every move like a hawk. We cannot get enough of her contagious smile and her insaciable love of life. So far, month nine is the best month ever!

During our photo shoot, I captured this almost crawling position! She did that herself!
