Do you enjoy Valentine’s Day? I think I enjoy it more now that I have a child old enough to understand about showing our friends and family love. We’ve been busy at home crafting some DIY Valentine’s (think stickers and markers everywhere, lol), and talking about sharing, and giving, and being good friends. Couldn’t be better! Although I didn’t want to go overboard decorating for Valentine’s Day, I did want to share a bit of decor to inspire you during this happy season!
Instead of decorating the whole house, I stuck to my little Rustic Industrial Shelf :)
[free build plans here!]
I had to add this happy pillow to my Valentine’s Day vignette – something about it speaks to me!
I DIY’d the simple wooden banners that I hung up – they were SUPER easy to make. I just drilled tiny holes into the wooden hearts and strung them together. I’ll share a tutorial for the banner soon too :)
Of course I had to add a little more industrial to my vignette too!
I wanted to make a couple decor pieces that were a bit more modern. I moved away from the red and pink too (although I do love those colours some years!). The “You & Me” sign was a much easier DIY than you think!
And this Wooden Arrow decor didn’t require any power tools either!
I love this subtle touch of Valentine’s Day in my home!
Happy Love Day to all of you!
Loving the little touches that really could be displayed at any time of year. My fave is that adorable wooden heart garland! Thank you so much for sharing these ideas with us at Funtastic Friday, Lindi! Pinning & sharing!
Thank you! I can’t believe I hadn’t popped by that party before! I’ll have to stop by more often :)
What a cute setup! I love it. Love the black and gold. Pinned & Thanks for linking up at MerryMonday!
