Looking for a festive and fun Christmas craft idea? These DIY mini wreath ornaments are perfect for your holiday tree or as a homemade gift for loved ones.
Do you have any holiday traditions? I’m so traditional when it comes to holidays. We always watch It’s a Wonderful Life. We always bake our family Nuts & Bolts recipe. And I always make a new ornament. At least one, if not more! This year I’ve been busy making embroidery hoop wreaths at every turn. So, I wanted to try my hand at DIY mini wreath ornaments too!

These wreaths are another DIY in our Modern Holiday Home series! If you missed it, last week we shared some amazing wood projects. The week before, we made some gorgeous gold foil decor! This week, we are bringing you some stellar spray paint projects.
Here’s what you need to make these ornaments:
3″ Embroidery Hoops
Silver Bells
Faux Florals
Black Spray Paint
White Spray Paint
Make Your Own Mini Wreath Ornaments:
Start by spray painting your embroidery hoops. I couldn’t decide between the black and white ornaments, so I decided on both, lol.
Next, pull out some simple decor from your craft stash! I used ribbon, twine, silver bells, and some faux florals that I cut off the stems with a wire cutter.
Honestly, it took me less than 30 minutes to make 6 ornaments! It’s such a fun and easy project!
In case you’re a visual learner (like me!), I made a quick video to show you exactly what how I made them :)
This might be one of my favourite ornaments yet! Originally, I was going to give some as gifts, but now I may keep them for my tree! lol.
