Loving June

I cannot believe it’s June already! It feels like my baby boy just arrived, but it was already a month ago! As I was looking for a way to share his growth and all of our family changes with everyone, I remembered how much I enjoyed sharing these “Loving” monthly posts last year. Life got busy – as it always does – but I thought it was about time to start sharing these posts about our lives again!

Loving: My Baby Boy! At one month he has grown to 11lbs and 23 inches long! He’s a BIG boy! I look at him and I’m convinced he’s going to be as tall as his Daddy one day. So far he loves depriving his mom of sleep, staring at fans, and falling asleep on Mommy and Oma’s shoulders :)

Creating: I’ve been taking a bit of time of from blogging to enjoy my family and my new baby boy, but I still had a chance to revamp our front entry! Come read these great tips on adding curb appeal!

Celebrating: Getting ready to celebrate Canada Day! You better believe I’ll be making this dessert.…

Reading: This novel by Jodi Picoult. Usually I fly through her books, but this time I just can’t seem to finish the book! I don’t know if it’s because I’m tried or it’s just not my favourite of her books :(

Writing: Some MUCH overdue DIY posts from this room and this room.

Watching: Waaaay more TV than I’m comfortable with! I try to read while I’m breastfeeding, but sometimes I’m just too tired to concentrate on a book, so Netflix comes back on… I’m already annoyed with how much I’m watching. Anyone have any tips for something else I can do while feeding??

Needing: A pedicure!

Learning: How to balance work and life and three children and a husband and two dogs and two cats. Life is busy.

Planning: A new renovation! We are hoping our next big renovation will be in the fall, so we are starting to think about what to tackle….Do you think we should tackle a bathroom or bedroom first?? Let me know!

Dreaming About: Can you have dreams if you’re only getting two hours of sleep at a time?? lol. Totally worth it though… look at this guy!

Coveting: THESE beautiful outdoor spaces!

What’s Working for Me Right Now: My Mom!! How will I survive next month when my mom flies back home? She’s been such a huge help around here every day. All three of my kids love her so much and I’m not sure I could’ve survived month without her! Love you mama!

What’s Not: The complete lack of sleep… this too will end…. right?? Please baby boy, please start sleeping a bit more!

Anticipating: Having a few guests over so I can show off our brand new Modern Entry in person!
